My main research interests focus on plant disease epidemiology and disease management, with the emphasis on Sclerotinia stem rot (SSR) and clubroot of oilseed rape. The scope of our research on SSR and clubroot has ranged from the basic to the applied. This research includes the pathotype composition and diversity in populations of the pathogens, pathogen population dynamics and evolution, infection cycle and integrated control strategy.
